Customize your gameplay experience to match your skill level and style! You can adjust the AI Difficulty (Easy, Medium, or Hard) to make the opponents more challenging. Change the look of your table by selecting different Table Themes, including Blue Velvet, Green Classic, or Purple Royal. You can also toggle the sound effects and ambient background music on or off from the settings menu.

Winning in Spades requires strategy and teamwork. You and your partner (Eleanor) must bid exactly how many tricks you expect to win. Use high-ranking cards and Spades (the trump suit) to secure your tricks. If you have a very weak hand, consider bidding "Nil" (0 tricks) to earn a 100-point bonus, or risk it all with a "Blind Nil" for 200 points. Be careful not to take too many extra tricks, as collecting 10 "bags" will cost you a 100-point penalty! The first team to reach 500 points wins the match.

Understanding the scoring system is key to victory. Successful team bids score 10 points per trick bid (e.g., bidding 4 and making it gives 40 points). Failing to meet your bid deducts 10 points per trick bid. Any extra tricks won beyond your bid count as "bags" (1 point each). Nil bids score +100 if successful, or -100 if failed. Blind Nil bids score ±200 points. Keep an eye on the scoreboard to track your bags and plan your strategy accordingly!
